UITM in Rzeszów will host participants of a pilot workshop carried out as part of the international ESG4PMCHANGE project

From March 23–27, pilot training workshops for university students will take place on the campuses of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów (WSIiZ) located on Sucharskiego Street and in Kielnarowa. The event is a key element of the international project titled “The ESG Imperative for the Project Management World: Alliance for Developing and Empowering Changemakers”.

The main objective of the initiative is to provide participants with modern knowledge and to develop the competencies necessary for effectively implementing environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) principles in everyday project management practice.

The workshop program has been designed using a project-based learning approach, closely aligned with academic educational standards. The entire process combines expert support, teamwork, and experiential learning. Students will have the opportunity to make strategic decisions based on advanced business simulations, allowing them to go through a full, repeatable project development process integrated with the ESG concept. These activities will conclude with a formal presentation of the developed solutions, addressing contemporary sustainable development challenges.

Each training day has been structured to explore different aspects of management in a comprehensive way. Participants will begin by learning about the strategic framework and structure of ESG projects, then move on to topics related to efficiency and value integration within teams, and finally take part in advanced stress-testing in a simulated environment.

The workshops will conclude with a session dedicated to future competencies in the labor market, while a detailed schedule of all thematic blocks will be shared in the near future.

The event is organized by the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, in cooperation with two Polish partners: Syntea S.A. and Revas Sp. z o.o.
