The final stage of project support is behind us. The Milicz school has been equipped with modern equipment
The last stage of the implementation of the Intelligent Professionals project was the purchase and implementation of software using virtual reality technology, as well as the training of teachers from the Tadeusz Kościuszko School Complex in Milicz.
One of the school classrooms was adapted to function as a virtual reality lab. Several designated workstations were created in it, equipped with VR headsets purchased with project funds. This solution allows several students to work simultaneously and comfortably, and enables lessons to be conducted in a modern format attractive to young people.
The implemented Micree software combines the development of soft and social skills with gamification mechanisms, and also allows achieving exemplary learning outcomes.
As part of the project, the school workshops were also equipped with a 3D printer and a 3D scanner. This significantly expands the range of available educational tools and enables students to acquire practical skills in the field of modern technologies.
“Thanks to this equipment, our teachers can now conduct extracurricular classes that will allow students to gain additional qualifications. These qualifications will be recognized throughout Europe, because they are implemented as part of the Integrated Qualifications System,” says Ms. Alina Iskrzycka, deputy head of the Milicz school.
An important element of the project was also the training of teaching staff in VR technology, which will now become a permanent part of extracurricular activities. Teachers learned the possibilities of using VR headsets and familiarized themselves with ready-made lesson scenarios, effectively supporting the teaching process and increasing student engagement.
“I hope that classes conducted by trained teachers will introduce something new to student education in the field of an entirely new technology,” adds the deputy head.
