Recruitment meetings for the project with the Silesian University of Technology in Tarnowskie Góry

We continue our recruitment meetings with students as part of a project carried out in cooperation with the Silesian University of Technology. This time, we visited secondary schools in Tarnowskie Góry, where we talked with young people about the opportunities offered by the project “Developing competencies in the NUB sector among high school students from the Rybnik, Gliwice, Bytom, Katowice, and Sosnowiec subregions.”

Our goal is to reach as many students as possible – those who want to develop their skills and consciously plan their future. During meetings at II High School, VI High School, the School Complex of Gastronomy and Hotel Management, and the Art High School in the School of Arts and Design Complex, we discussed the benefits of participating in the project.

The project is not only about extra classes or preparation for final exams. It is above all practical support in building a professional career path – from developing digital skills, through soft skills, to gaining knowledge in modern technologies. Students have the opportunity to acquire qualifications valued on the job market, which significantly increase their career prospects after graduation.

The meetings also brought many interesting questions from students. Many wanted to know what specific skills can be gained through the project and how these can help in further education or future employment. This shows that young people are increasingly thinking about developing their competencies in a broader perspective than just the final exams.
