Recruitment in the Tychy and Bielsko-Biała subregion has begun
The first recruitment meetings under the project titled “Supporting the development of future competencies among high school students in the Tychy and Bielsko subregion” are behind us. This is the next stage in the implementation of the project subsidized by the European Union.
Recruitment meetings
During recruitment meetings, students from the Tychy and Bielsko-Biala sub-regions learned about the substantive scope of the project, which aims to prepare 500 high school students to study majors related to modern business services in Silesia.
The meetings were attended by Ewa Grygierczyk, representing the project leader – the Academy of Applied Sciences in Bielsko-Biala, and Anna Domanska and Magdalena Krzywicka, representatives of the project partner Syntea S.A.
“These meetings are crucial to our project. Often students are not even aware that they can take part in this kind of initiative, which opens up new opportunities for their development. Thanks to our cooperation with school principals in the Tychy and Bielsko subregion, we have a chance to reach out to young people and show them that their involvement can bring concrete, real benefits – both in the form of new skills and better preparation for further education and work in the future. We want every student to know that it is worth investing their time in developing competencies that will be valued on the labor market.” – says Anna Domanska, Project Manager at Syntea S.A.
Support path
The project offers participants an interesting and comprehensive support path. During its duration, students will have the opportunity to take advantage of career counseling (4 hours), workshops on green j transformation and digital competencies (6 hours), as well as additional classes to prepare for matriculation in science subjects (20 hours).
An additional advantage of the project is the opportunity to acquire technical skills and obtain certified IQS qualifications. Participants will have the opportunity to obtain a certificate in one of three marketable specializations: customer relationship management using a CRM system (50 hrs), 3D printing programming and operation (60 hrs), and spatial data acquisition and editing (50 hrs).
With this support, students will gain practical skills that will increase their chances of finding their way in Silesia’s rapidly growing modern business services sector.
“Our goal is not only to support students in their studies, but also to prepare them for the realities of the modern labor market. That’s why it’s so important that the support path we offer is as practical as possible and aligned with current trends. As part of the project, participants gain access to comprehensive career counseling, digital competency classes and preparation for matriculation in science subjects. But we don’t stop there – we put a lot of emphasis on technical skills that can be directly applied at work. Earning a certificate in areas such as CRM system management, 3D printing or spatial data editing are concrete assets that open doors to many industries. We want young people to leave the project not only with theoretical knowledge, but also with practical qualifications that confirm their readiness to take on challenges in the modern business services sector in Silesia.” – Anna Domanska adds .
Further steps
To formally join the project, anyone interested must fill out an application form, print it out, sign it and deliver it to us. Participants of recruitment meetings at schools can leave the form at the place indicated by the institution, most often it is the secretariat. Those who could not attend the meetings have the opportunity to complete the application paperwork via our website.
We would like to remind you that the number of places in the project is limited – only 500 high school students aged 15-19 from the Tychy and Bielskoye subregions can take part in the initiative. Upon completion of the recruitment process, participants will be assigned to project groups, in which they will carry out further stages of the program. We encourage all interested parties to apply as soon as possible so as not to miss this unique opportunity for their development.
