In February, a meeting was held to inaugurate a new project entitled. ‘Adjusting vocational education to the needs of the labour market’, which we are implementing in cooperation with the Municipality of Włocławek. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of vocational education and, consequently, to better prepare students for the dynamically changing labour market.

Project scope and objectives

The project started on 1 March. It is planned to cover a wide range of activities aimed at developing vocational education in the Włocławek Urban Functional Centre. As many as 1850 students and 108 teachers will benefit from it. The project will raise the level of qualifications and competencies of students and teachers, retrofit school workshops in 11 establishments, support green and digital transformation, and facilitate educational mobility and accessibility for people with disabilities.

Project activities

As part of the project, schools will be equipped with modern equipment and tools to improve the quality of education. Pupils will benefit from career guidance and workshops related to green and digital transformation, developing key competences. In addition, remedial and development classes are planned to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge. Also on offer will be vocational courses and training to confer entitlements under the Integrated Qualifications System.
