Project ceremony in Warka. Students received their certificates

On Friday, 13 February, a ceremonial presentation of certificates took place at the Complex of Schools named after the 1st Fighter Aviation Regiment “Warszawa” in Warka for students participating in the project “Effective Vocational Education in the Grójec County.” Certificates confirming newly acquired qualifications were awarded not only to students of the Warka school, but also to students from the Technical Secondary School at the Vocational and Continuing Education Centre in Nowa Wieś.

The event was also attended by students from schools in Jasieniec and Grójec.

The meeting was opened by the school principal, Anna Górnicka, who welcomed the invited guests and emphasized the importance of the project for the development of the institution and its students. She noted that cooperation with Syntea S.A. has been ongoing for several years, and that this is the fourth time the school has taken part in a similar initiative.

As the principal highlighted, participation in the project provides young people with a real opportunity to gain professional experience through student internships and to develop their competencies by attending specialized courses. The certificates presented during the ceremony confirm the qualifications and skills they have acquired.

The event was also attended by the Starost of Grójec County, Krzysztof Ambroziak, who pointed to the growing interest in educational projects among schools in the county. He stressed that the local government consistently engages in securing external funding—among others through calls announced by the Mazovian Unit for the Implementation of EU Programmes and the Self-Government of the Mazovian Voivodeship—to provide young people with access to modern forms of education.

A summary of the project activities was presented by Paweł Chudy, Vice President of the Management Board of Syntea S.A.. He discussed the scope of the completed training courses, the improved qualifications of the students, and the equipment purchased for the schools, including modern virtual reality (VR) devices.

An interactive VR technology demonstration was an integral part of the event. Students had the opportunity to explore solutions that may be used in future training projects. A civil defense scenario was also presented, addressing contemporary threats and crisis situations. This allowed students to see how modern technologies can support preparation for responding to potential dangers.
