Over 60 Students Begin Internships – Educational Project Continues in Ryki County
The project “Vocational Education as the Key to the Success of Ryki County” has entered its next phase. Students from four school complexes in the region have begun participating in professional internships aimed at enhancing their practical skills and better preparing them for entering the job market.
More than 60 students are taking part in the internships, representing vocational fields such as IT technician, automotive technician, tourism organization technician, logistics technician, construction technician, electrical technician, hotel management technician, and gastronomy and food services technician. Each participant will complete 150 hours of on-the-job training with companies operating in the region.
One of the participants is Maciej Koryś, a student at Leon Wyczółkowski Vocational School Complex No. 2 in Ryki. He is training to become a logistics technician and is completing his internship at NORGOL, a company that has been active on the Polish market since 1991.
“Here, I mainly perform warehouse-related tasks such as checking actual inventory levels, measuring, weighing, and entering data into various computer programs. I believe the skills I’ve gained here will be very useful when I enter the labor market. I’m glad I chose NORGOL for my internship, because the people here are very supportive and helpful” – says Maciej.
The internship program is a key component of the project, giving young people the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real work environments. Thanks to cooperation with trusted employers, students have a chance to develop their professional competencies and better prepare for their future careers.
