Nearly 700 people attended an information meetings on the new project in the Oświęcim District

An informational meeting on the project “Development of the Professional Competence Center for the Administrative and Service Sector of the Oświęcim Poviat – Stage II” was held on December 2-3 at the Poviat Center for Technical and Industrial Education in Oświęcim.

The event was attended by representatives of schools participating in the project, project partner Syntea S.A. and nearly 700 students, for whom it was an ideal opportunity to learn about all forms of support offered by the project.

Scope of support

The project includes a variety of activities aimed at improving the quality of vocational education. It includes training and vocational courses, student internships, study visits to employers, classes to counteract violence and discrimination, retrofitting of school laboratories, and professional development of teachers and management staff.

Ultimately, 584 students and 29 teachers from the four schools of vocational education forming the Center of Professional Competence will benefit from project support:

  • Technical School in Brzeszcze,
  • Technical School No. 1 in Oświęcim,
  • Technical School No. 2 in Oświęcim,
  • Industry School No. 2 in Oświęcim.

What’s next?

In the near future, the process of recruiting students and teachers to participate in the planned project activities will begin. Details on recruitment, training dates and the schedule of other activities will be published on an ongoing basis on the websites of the participating schools. Participation in the program is an opportunity to gain new skills, professional experience and valuable competencies that will facilitate entry into the labor market, so we encourage all interested parties to follow the announcements so as not to miss the opportunity to take advantage of the support offered.
