Modern Education in the Żywiec District – New Project Secures Funding!
Great news for students and teachers in the Żywiec region – the project “Modern General Education in the Żywiec District” has received the green light and will be co-financed! The initiative, carried out by the Żywiec District in partnership with Syntea S.A., is valued at nearly 2.5 million PLN and aims to bring education to a more modern and practical level.
Time for innovation
Thanks to the synergy resulting from the collaboration with Syntea S.A., the project combines the experience of the local government with a modern approach to digital education. This collaboration will result in access to innovative teaching tools – including virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies – which will be adapted to the age and capabilities of students. These solutions will support both students and teachers in developing key skills and competencies in a modern educational environment.
Comprehensive support
The programme will benefit 440 students and 15 teachers from the M. Kopernik High School No. 1 in Żywiec and the Marii Konopnicka High School in Milówka. Teachers will participate in training on the use of VR and AI in education and workshops on anti-discrimination. Students will have the opportunity to participate in:
- pro-environmental and ICT workshops,
- remedial classes to support preparation for secondary school-leaving exams,
- workshops developing professional competences,
- activities enabling them to gain qualifications within the Integrated Qualification System (IQS),
- workshops promoting equality attitudes.
In addition, as part of the project, schools will be equipped with modern educational equipment. Better technical facilities will improve the quality of teaching and create more favourable conditions for the development of both students and teachers.
