It was a very busy January for the students of the Tadeusz Kościuszko School Complex in Milicz

In January 2025, as part of the “Intelligent Professionals” project, specialised training courses were held for students of the Tadeusz Kościuszko School Complex. A total of 28 students benefited from the support offered, taking part in courses on green competences, customer relationship management using a CRM system and mixed and alcoholic beverage service. The aim of the training courses was not only to broaden theoretical knowledge, but above all to develop practical skills that are highly valued by employers in today’s labour market. As many as 103 teaching hours were completed as part of the project in January alone.

Group workshops

On 13 January, the first group workshop took place, aimed at developing key, green and future-oriented competences among students of the Tadeusz Kościuszko School Complex. The activities were in the form of workshops with employers, allowing students to directly exchange experiences and knowledge with industry representatives. Overall, 20 students, divided into two groups, took part in the green competence training. Each group participated in 15 hours of workshops, giving a total of 30 hours of instruction. The workshops were led by experienced trainers Zuzanna Pestka and Karol Burzyński, who ensured that the participants developed both professional skills and those necessary to function effectively in the labour market, taking into account the challenges of modern and green technologies.

Customer relationship management

As part of the training for the qualification “Customer Relationship Management using a CRM system”, eight students had the opportunity to deepen their skills in effective customer service and business relationship management. The training, which lasted 50 didactic hours, was designed to ensure that the participants acquired practical skills for working with CRM systems, which are now essential in many industries. Under the watchful eye of trainer Tomasz Wysocki, students gained knowledge on how to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, which is a key element in the success of modern companies. The class ended on 30 January and a day later, on 31 January 2025, the participants took a final exam to test the skills they had acquired. Completing the course will give them an edge in the job market, as the ability to effectively manage customer relationships, including the use of advanced CRM systems, is increasingly valued by employers looking for customer service and sales professionals.

Start of training in the catering industry

The students of the Tadeusz Kościuszko School Complex are also behind the first classes as part of the “Mixed drinks and spirits service” qualification, run by trainer Damian Twardy. Ten students have already completed 23 hours of classes and have another 57 hours ahead of them (in February), during which they will hone their skills in preparing drinks. The course will conclude with an exam, which will take place on 3 March 2025.

VR technology an interesting addition

Training for specific qualifications also takes place using state-of-the-art VR (virtual reality) technology, which is an interesting complement to traditional classes. Thanks to this innovative formula, students have the opportunity to interact with a virtual space, allowing them to learn in a more engaging and effective way. In the VR environment, pupils gain knowledge of the fundamentals of the qualification and learn the correct sequence in which to perform each activity. This type of interactive approach has a huge impact on the subsequent acquisition of real-world skills, enabling the acquired knowledge to be applied more easily and naturally in work practice.
