An innovative curriculum model is now available. Download the document.
As part of the project activities, an innovative educational program model was developed, integrating the principles of sustainable development, corporate governance, and digital project management with academic and vocational education. The deliverable presents a modular, competency based curriculum architecture designed to embed ESG principles into project management education across Higher Education (HE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems
The model translates the ESG4PMChange Competency Framework into a practical and implementation ready learning structure. It aligns European priorities, labour market needs, and modern pedagogical approaches. The curriculum is built around real ESG challenges, the use of Virtual Living Labs, and compatibility with ECTS and ECVET systems, ensuring credit transferability and flexible learning pathways.
The structure is modular and adaptable to Bachelor, Master, and professional training levels. It integrates environmental, social, governance, and digital competencies while maintaining academic robustness and practical relevance.
The development process included curriculum review, identification of common thematic areas, systematic ESG integration, partner consultations, and validation workshops with experts and practitioners. The result is a ready to implement model supporting the modernisation of project management education in line with European sustainability priorities.
